Students and staff at The Clere School participated in a sponsored one mile run for Sport Relief on Friday 18th March. On a very chilly afternoon, the runners braved the cold conditions and ran one and a half laps of the school field in fancy dress. The money will go towards the millions of pounds raised by people up and down the country which is spent on excellent causes both at home in the UK, and abroad.
Richard Peters, Curriculum Leader for PE said "Despite the freezing conditions, many students came out either to take part or support the runners on the course. It was a great event and everyone who crossed the finish line really felt as though they had accomplished something really worthwhile".
