Highest Scouting Accomplishment for Three Year 8 students

Well done to Hannah Willis, Alex Burgess and Natasha Ellis, who were all recently awarded the Chief Scouts Gold Award, the highest award a scout can accomplish.

To achieve this award, Hannah, Alex and Natasha completed 9 multi-part challenges including adventurous activities such as dragon boating, planning and executing a journey and investigation across 2 days without adult supervision, a global view on scouting where they made contact with scouts in Uganda, community activities, and health and fitness challenges.

All three students belong to the 10th Andover group, based in Hurstbourne Tarrant and they are pictured here with Dr Rebecca Ferris, the District Commissioner for Andover.
